Peaceful Weight Loss™ through Yoga

I have struggled for years with being overweight, and I have some serious physical limitations from injuries. I found this book to be a compassionate and practical guide to making changes in a way I could manage. It is well written and intelligent, and surprisingly easy to internalize. Generally I meet people 2-4 times per month. You will need a six-month commitment to realize change.

Sessions typically consist of:

Private yoga instruction geared towards building a practice you can do on your own.
Food coaching to help you develop sustainable food choices and eating habits that will help you reach your ideal weight.

My standard rates are:

$90/hour in NY, $75 in Northampton, MA. I generally recommend twice-monthly sessions.
Some sliding-scale slots are available.
All clients get email and "emergency" phone support.

My offices are located in Chelsea on West 20th Street and in Northampton, MA. In-home sessions are also available.

For those not in the New York City or Northampton areas, I also offer phone and videoconferencing sessions.
